Dear Family and friends of Mr Dobson,
I would just like to say that im am soooo sorry to hear about your loss. It was a horrible day for everyone who knew him and school just hasn't been the same since he left us. Mr Dobson was the greatest teacher I have ever had and inspired me so very much. I miss him so much, his laughter and jokes and the wonderful stories he use to tell, his awesome sense of humour and the way he would light up the room when he walked in. Nobody will ever be able to take the place of him and his memories will live with us forever. School has a horrible feeling to it now and C block feels extremely empty without his presence. Art will never be the same without him and his coffee cups and amazingly talented whistling or the gorgeous barkus. Although I only had him as a teacher for a year he the thought of him being gone is unbearable. He was an inspiration to everyone and will be sadly missed. Once again I am sorry and I send my love to you all. Rest in peace Mr Dobson and I hope to see you again in another life time. xoxoxoxoxo

You made the history of art come alive |

It is incredibly sad to hear that someone so inspiring has passed. During our years as frustrated teenagers the Art department became our sanctuary, thats going back nearly 15 years now. Mr Dobson, Mrs Sage and Mr Ball were a great team and many of us are still making art, enjoying others work and in my situation now teaching it. Mr Dobson made history come alive with his animated and real life stories, one I remember is him trying to cast a Rodin in the middle of the night with friends. Mr Dobson tapped into the romantisism and rich world of creativity and passed it on to us, never had humble old Beachaven felt like the right place to be as when he gathered us into that pokey auditorium and spoke of magic. Thankyou for taking us so seriously and making us feel unique and known. Thankyou Mr Dobson.

Rest in Peace. Thank-you for making school worth while... To his Family, I'm sorry for your loss, but we all want you to know he was loved by all his students.

Id would just like to give my condolences to Mr Dobson's Family and friends he was a great teacher and know that he will be dearly missed by lots of people i am very sorry for you lost. I wish that it didnt have to happen but he's in a better place now im very sorry.
